Description

CIPC (a member of the dtic) is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with opportunities to gain work experience to complement their studies. Applicants are invited for an Internship Programme that would run for a period of 24 months. Interns will be placed in our Sunnyside Office (Pretoria).

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and responding to inbound customer calls efficiently, providing information and guidance on CIPC products, services, processes, and procedures
  • Assisting customers in resolving queries and service requests, aiming for first-call resolution where possible, while escalating complex issues to senior staff
  • Accurately capturing and logging all interactions in the call management system to ensure proper documentation and follow-up
  • Delivering high-quality customer service through clear verbal and written communication, maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions
  • Contributing to team efforts by gathering feedback, identifying service improvement opportunities, and participating in quality assurance reviews

Qualifications

  • Unemployed South African citizen
  • Aged 18-35 years
  • Completed Diploma or Degree in Call Centre (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service skills
  • No prior work experience
  • No previous participation in an internship programme
  • Higher education institution graduate with diploma/degree
